Lecture

GET OUT STUDIOS

A S.T.E.A.M workshop series for ages K-12. The workshop is designed to give our students exposure, training, experience and confidence in using equipment that is not readily available in our targeted communities. Enrolled college students and experienced professionals volunteer to become mentors and instructors in various areas of focus. Those areas of focus include but are not limited to coding, photography, videography, graphic design, music production, and more!

Graduation

GET OUT SCHOLARS PROGRAM

A competitive internship program which allows college students to intern for Get Out Network while gaining industry experience and college credit. The program is offered all year round to current students seeking experience in their fields of study or personal interest.
To become a Get Out Scholar it takes an understanding of Get Out Network’s mission and the ability to represent the organization exceptionally on your campus or city. You will receive leadership experience, resume building skills, exclusive access to job opportunities and special incentives throughout the program. Our ideal Get Out Scholar is a leader, who motivates and inspires others, and a overall go getter.

ANNUAL GET OUT GIVES BACK INITIATIVE

A community service initiative that highlights academic achievement for middle and high school students. Our organization and selected sponsors surprise the students with a celebration for their hard work and effort, we lead S.T.E.A.M related activities, and provide school supplies for the classroom.

THE GET OUT PROJECT

The Get Out project is a digital documentary series that showcases the stories of pioneering creatives and professionals that are impacting our communities the most.
In an intimate setting, we serve as a platform for young creatives and professionals to document select features to hear success stories, failures, triumphs, and heartbreaks of the strategically selected features based on the uniqueness of their story and passion to improve their surroundings.
The goal of the project is to serve as a platform for young creatives and professionals to showcase their talents and/or businesses while given the opportunity to inspire others through their story.

DO SOMETHING COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

This initiative was created with the belief that the simple act of “giving back” starts with just doing something. In order to make an impact on the world you must Get up, Get out, and Do Something!. The "Do Something" Initiative focuses on community needs that often go unnoticed The focus is to bring the community together by way of events and programs. Most recently, Get Out Network tackled the Flint water crisis as part of the Do Something Initiative.
